Online Privacy Policy
International Association of
Administrative Professionals (IAAP) Website
Our Commitment To Privacy:
We are committed to
maintaining and respecting the privacy of our members and website visitors. To
better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online
information practices and the choices you can make about the way your
information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it
available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable
information may be requested.
The Information We Collect:
We collect
information volunteered by our website visitors and members through our online
order forms, registration forms, and membership applications. In addition, we
also collect and analyze our web server log data. All information collected is
used to provide requested services to members and website visitors, improve the
content of the website and online services, and for aggregate visitor analysis.
Cookies:
Persistent cookies may be used on this

prefer not to accept cookies, the help portion of the tool bar on most web
browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies,
how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to
disable cookies altogether. However, disabling cookies may result in certain
parts of the website not operating correctly or prevent you from taking full
advantage of some of the features of our website.
The Way We Use Information:
We occasionally rent
our active member and OfficePro magazine subscriber postal mailing list
(postal mailing addresses only) to carefully screened business partners. The
income derived from list rental helps to fund member programs and services, and
helps keep annual membership dues as low as possible. We do not provide members'
phone numbers or e-mail addresses to external vendors. We do not allow external
parties to use this information for telemarketing or mass e-mail campaign
purposes. IAAP members may opt-out of receiving postal mailings from IAAP
business partners during the initial online registration process, or by sending
e-mail to mailto:membership@iaap-hq.org?subject=Postal
Mailing Opt Out or calling 816.891.6600 ext. 2238.
